The procedure to generate our Multiclonals is actually the core IP of Abcalis. However, we can reveal this much: for our multiclonal antibody mix, we specifically select monoclonal antibodies with exactly the functional properties required for the desired overall profile. The phage display technique makes this possible in a very targeted manner. We then assemble as many antibodies as necessary to achieve the desired functionality and specificity. This approach also enables Abcalis to ensure that the monoclonal antibodies are produced entirely without the use of animals.
